After years of having owned and operated two full service restaurant/lounge venues (serving 100 and 200 each), it was a pleasure to find this 1865 Victorian Home in which to continue using our time proven skills in hospitality, culinary arts and service. 

Our additional experiences as the proprietors of a national ice cream franchise and management of a major chain fast food restaurant all combine to allow us to provide well appointed accommodations, gourmet food and personalized service for the distinctive traveler.

During the program the home is toured and breakfast is served by D. M. Rawlins.  Breakfast is started with fresh juice, a fresh fruit cup with yogurt and whipped cream, a tomato Provencal stuffed with brie, bread crumbs   and home gardened herbs, a cheese bread - shirred egg in a basket, then a sweet cream buttered croissant ala ham and cheese.  Along with these were banana-orange-brandied bread and the "house" Merlot Tea iced or hot and gourmet coffee. 

The commentator said the cuisine was unique and delicious.   A good time was had by all.

• While in the south, in the restaurant business, D. M. Rawlins received the Silver Spoon award in cooking and second prize in a national Chili-Cook-off.
